Dan Manges is the cofounder and CEO of RWX, the cloud platform that engineering teams and AI agents use to build, test, and ship software. Throughout his career, he has built category-defining technology companies at the forefront of payments, insurance, and developer infrastructure.
Prior to RWX, Dan cofounded Root and served as CTO, leading the company's technology and engineering organizations from inception through its 2020 IPO (NASDAQ: ROOT). Before Root, he was CTO of Braintree, where he scaled the global payments platform through a period of rapid growth that included the acquisition of Venmo and culminated in Braintree's $800M acquisition by PayPal.
Over the last two decades, Dan has built and scaled platforms used by millions of people, led engineering organizations from startup stages to hundreds of engineers, and created influential technology companies in payments, insurance, and cloud infrastructure.
